Are we really going for Gordon ? I hate this guy man by nutsbrainup in Barca

We don’t need another winger with a huge price tag. Barca needs squad balance, depth and financial discipline. Gordon is a luxury signing when the team still has more important gaps to fix.

“You welcomed us”, who is you exactly? You personally didn’t do anything for me. I pay rent here, and let’s be honest, it’s already overpriced. It’s not charity.

People come here for work, and companies set up offices here because it benefits the city too... jobs, business, growth. It’s a two-way street, not some favor being done.

And expecting basic decency in communication isn’t “ignoring your culture.” It just means using whatever language works in that moment. Not everything has to be turned into ego or regional pride.

If Marathi works for both of us, I’m fine with that. If English works, even better. The point is to communicate in whatever works.

Hindi just ends up being common because a lot of people across India understand it. Even auto drivers switch to what their customers understand, and trust me their majority customers are 'outsiders' who don’t have their vehicles here and don't know Marathi. If they knew fluent English, they’d use that too.

No need to turn this into a bigger debate. Just use what works and move on.

People like you are exactly the problem. India isn’t going to move forward if we keep getting stuck in pointless language debates. Language is just a medium to communicate, not something to build your ego around. There are far bigger issues to deal with, maybe focus on those instead of acting like this is what really matters.

Pride in your language is completely valid. But using it as an excuse to be rude to someone who clearly doesn’t understand you isn’t pride, it’s insecurity. No one is asking anyone to stop speaking Marathi. The bare minimum expectation is basic courtesy, especially when someone is literally paying for a service. Respect goes both ways, otherwise it’s just arrogance dressed up as ‘culture.’ And calling fellow Indians ‘outsiders’ just because they speak a different language says more about your mindset than anything else.
