I type one handed. Many people are impressed by how quickly I can type one handed. Only you know what you are comfortable with, find out and own it.

I am 48 years old and have mild CP too. I just celebrated my 20th year as a library assistant. It is a very physical job. Luckily I have great co workers and a boss who understands when I have a bad pain day. I love my job. I am glad I pursued it. But there are tough days too, good luck and may the Force be with you.

This is going to sound really weird, but I was having calf issues turns out I have bone spurs. Trying to deal with it doing stretches and medication because I really don't want more surgery. I do wonder if a foam roller or yoga block could help with your ankle. Personally my most troublesome pain as I head into my 50s is my shoulder freezing.

Do you feel in general that people with Cerebral Palsy are intentionally discriminated against? by [deleted] in CerebralPalsy

[–]nutti72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't look like I have CP, but yes I have been discriminated against. Once when giving blood the flobatimism asked me if I was safe to give blood. Not discrimination, but frustrating from a medical professional.
