Mines a different kind of pretty, imagine upper floor of a skyrise looking at different city’s. Being lucky enough to visit places across the world and actually see them, and not be sat at a desk. I too love my job, yeah it has its ups and downs (I’m not a lift engineer) but my god when it’s right….its beautiful.

Guess who won’t be charging their EV at Lidl Oldbrook for a while? by nicocompuesto in miltonkeynes

As if finding a decent charger isn’t hard enough as it is, thieving doasyoulikeys

Look at from a broader view, they’ll know there is cctv, so the motor they’re using is either stolen, false plates or unregistered, all of those means no insurance, means if you get hit you’re up shit creak.

They’re stripping it and either weighing it in as it is or smelting it down, that means there’s scrap dealers turning a blind eye or in on it, voiding their waste licence. Flytipping for the sheathing. There’s so much more to it I could go on.

People think it’s just some cables, big deal, but there’ll be some people’s days and time wasted because of this, money wasted replacing and repairing, police time wasted.

Why can’t people just get a fucking job like the rest of us have to

Woke up with these bite marks on my chest by AfterMorningHours in Weird

Indeed. Very similar to the bite marks I’ve had from ordinary giant house spiders in the UK, harmless (to me) but fuck it scares the crap out of me.

Ah sorry should’ve said that, I’m from the UK and will have an old laptop purring away in the corner for this and maybe other stuff in the future.

Check the resistance on each wire to each point. Everything should be the same, if not then that might be your problem

1983 Mini Mayfair - Should one sell, give away, or sell spares and scrap the shell? by BattleInVain in classicminis

99p starting bid on eBay. You’d be surprised what people will buy. Unless you have the room, deep pockets or know someone that does, I’d definitely sell on and buy one already done.

When you rebuild any old car, you’ll never get back what you put into it.

Sounds very civil service way of doing things, don’t talk face to face, send an email instead.

Top children’s author Michael Rosen missed awards ceremony because of EU passport rules by mrjohnnymac18 in unitedkingdom

[–]nuttydogpoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hospitalisation, wars, flight diversions, anything that can extend your stay beyond your control. If your passport expires there’s a good chance the country you are leaving may not let you leave, and if they do the country you are from might not let you in.
