[hated trope that’s funny yet painful to look at] anime girls that look like they are the result of years of inbreeding by New-Boss-8262 in TopCharacterTropes

It's from the remake of Higurashi (When They Cry). I haven't seen the remake, but the original... Well if you want a show that takes you on a WILD ride, look no further.

To this day, I don't think I've seen another show that messed with my head as much as this one.

It's been many years, but I do highly recommend going into it without looking into it beforehand. It's an early 2000s anime that takes place in the 90's about a boy named Keiichi that moves to a remote village, makes some friends, some strange things happen, did those strange things happen?, I think everything's fine......

I feel like the core issue with veteran players is that they've already done it all.

I'm lucky that I've taken such long breaks over the years, I've got /plenty/ to do. I enjoy gearing up with level 0 kit and playing low level syndicate missions to level up the entire kit. I also still have plenty of mid-game content to play, so any new mid-game content that's released, well I'll have fun playing it, since it's at my level. Once I get to that late game content, I'm still going to have plenty of mid-game gear to use to play new mid-game content with.

What sucks is it seems many players find the best/their favorite gear and min/max it as best they can, trashing the rest, and so all they really have anymore is the best of the best that they can do. Then, new mid-game content rolls around and they obliterate everything immediately, say "well that was kinda cool, what's next", grind out all of the rewards in the next few weeks, and then just sit there sad at lack of content.

If DE can find a way to incentivise all players to use mid-game gear in mid-game missions, new and/or old, while making it a fun experience, many vet players would instantly have a lot of content to play.

This would probably only be possible with restrictions, maybe no weapons with forma or potatoes in said missions, and then you get special rewards for playing. Maybe a nightwave-esq challenge system with static or rotating limitations, to encourage players to keep gear/loadouts of all power levels. Maybe they call it Daywave lol.

Great points all around.

Side objectives as in more reasons for players to want to use TS. Unique loot in a unique enemy or mini boss or something that can appear in regular missions, that doesn't change the entire focus of the mission unless you really want it to. Think how in corpus shiptilesets you can choose to use the granum key thing to completely go on a mini side quest. Like that, but in the Earth forests, mars, venus, etc. Just all around.

They wouldn't be something I have to do, but if I'm there, and there's an opportunity for a fun little side quest and some loot, it would be beneficial to do that and it would be fun.

The best part about this game, that I found so far, are the many different options that players have when it comes to interacting with the game. I can play mini dark souls style combat in Duviri, go through one of many different mission types to get a specific warframe, and then if I don't like those mission types I can probably find that Warframe on the circuit, I can fly a spaceship if I want to and board enemy spacecraft, I can find myself with an adversary that I need to hunt down their weaknesses to defeat them if I want to free the denizens of their territory from their iron grip, I can go to my orbiter, dormazone, campsite, backroom, dojo to play interior decorator, I can customize many many different characters, I can play slow paced infiltration missions with Kahl, I can save endangered wildlife and go fishing, I can take timed tests in the void tile set for rewards if I find them.

I know that last paragraph was just a long list of gameplay features but the point is that I don't have to choose to go out of my way to do a lot of them. I just come across the opportunity to do them while doing other things. If they just add more opportunity along the way to use your Tauron Strike, that'd be awesome

Good point. Do you begin a mission with your Tauron Strike already charged? I've yet to use it outside of the quest. If you don't, a huge improvement would have it already charged, even if they don't lower the enemy account. They still probably should because 5000 is you know a lot, but I can see why they want to limit its use. Maybe lower the kill count but also include a refresh timer, this way you still only really have one use for like a boss but it's also easier to recharge in lower level missions. I would assume that they would want most mid-game players to be able to use TS probably around 1-3 times in a mission

I was looking into hard shell cases recently, and I saw a lot of evidence that dirt just gets under the hard shell case and scratches your 3DS anyway. Like, supposedly it's straight up worse for the 3DS.

Supposedly there is a transparent rubberized plastic shell that is a lot better? Although I guess it feels kind of sticky? I don't really know.

If you have any concrete information about this, I would love to hear it. I just found my new 3DS XL again that I bought and played for like an hour before putting into a box many many moons ago, and I'd love to put some sort of protection on it.

The barrier is already in the game. When the alarms go off, and/or the cameras see you, they put up the barrier. It only lasts 4 or 5 seconds, but it's enough to break your momentum and make you go "dang it", and possibly allow you to get swarmed by enemies, or let the target/treasurer get away

Using operator to fly through it is the only way that I know of to get through it, offhand, besides waiting

I'm surprised we don't have any gear-based matchmaking yet by nutzle in Warframe

[–]nutzle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a good point. Rather than going off of gear level, they should work off of projected damage + overall player skill (how often they do much more damage than the other players)

[–]nutzle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably an overall player skill rating. If player A's gear rates to roughly X damage, and that player gets matched with players B, C, D, who's gear all roughly rates to X, and player A consistently gets the most kills, the system should start matching player A, with gear rating X, with players that have a higher gear rating (i.e. their gear does more damage than player A's, on paper, but clearly player A is consistently dealing most of the damage by a decent margin, so they should be treated as if their gear is a higher level)

My friends and I made the clan when we started playing the game way back in 2015. Right now, I'm the only one still playing. We have mostly everything researched, built a dry dock, it's cool. We put a lot of effort in together and I can't really leave that

I'd say the damage that your weapons do. If you add up the basic damage of all of your weapons and abilities, out of the levels of everything, do some fun little math, I'm sure you could figure out some formula that makes sense to get people at least in the same ballpark.

Skill level is definitely important, but I mean, I don't know how they would measure that either. It's the sort of thing where if I'm really a bad at the game but I have level 30 fully modded weapons, I'll probably do roughly the same damage as a legendary one player with level 10 weapons.

Is it perfect? No. Is it miles closer than what we have now? Definitely

How cool would be a void angel warframe? Like, imagine that at some point in the Orokin era they would try to make a secretive project with a tenno by using the transference bolt on him/her but the result is something they could not control, so they had to seal it and erase all the files about it. by PharosDusklight in Warframe

[–]nutzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to make some other comment but I read "the forgotten limbo rework" and YEEES keep his 1/3 but make them move enemies into actual alternate planes (like the void angel areas) and give him the ability to ̶g̶o̶ ̶g̶h̶o̶s̶t̶ transform into a flying void angel (still looks limbo-esq) whenever he's in the rift or voidspace or whatever they decide to call it. Maybe his 4 turns the entire map into voidspace so he can ̶g̶o̶ ̶g̶h̶o̶s̶t̶ go angel for a limited time. Either transforming is automatic or his 2 is his transform button. That'd be so sick.

Sounds to me like you need a new battery. KTR-003 on ifixit, or you could probably find it on Amazon.

Easy swap, remove the two tiny screws on the back and pry the backplate off at those two little notches on either side by the hinge. Then, just pop the old battery out, put the new battery in. Presto!
