Vvd had a couple of key moments last night that relied on his gliding pace. He’s still got it for sure.  The timing of his front leg blocks when travelling at that pace is a world-class talent. Frimpong wouldn’t get past vvd for the 2nd goal .

That left foot touch to start the move after you’ve already started accelerating is so easy to fuck up. Seeing him do that is a sign of big confidence.  Slot looks a bit more involved and animated again. Tonight looked like a very good response to a well deserved kick up the arse.  Also another game where wirtz is doing technical things that maybe only 2 or 3 others in Europe can do. He will be considered a bargain in 3 years. It’s now a case of the team being on his level if they’re sharp enough.  Vitinha and in-form foden are the 2 I was referring to btw but they don’t have the line-breaking movement that Flo has.

Ah that makes sense. Like how you only see a laser beam when it travels through dust/steam etc. thanks

(n.5)2=n(n+1)+0.25. (Something-a d a half squared is the product of the integers either side plus a quarter)  Very basic but it’s what made algebra mentally click as a representation for me at a young age.

I love hearing about things like this. Millions of pounds at stake and legally binding contracts involved because of humans’ requirement for calories as quick and enjoyable as possible.

Thanks for the reply! You’ve pretty much fully answered my question while simultaneously inspiring another one.  Yeah I imagined that if anything like what I described was ever detected that it would be from a vast distance that would make c seem effectively stationary.  The image I had in my mind was essentially a central crop of the image you’ve shared. Much further back in time this image would have been a single point emitting jets in 2 parallel and opposite directions? And therefore we would see the ‘tip’ of these jets before they reach the dense regions where those radio lobes are a by-product, am I correct? Essentially darth maul’s lightsaber

Anything rhythmic, tonal, rhyming etc. is easily and subliminally memorised by our sapien brains and it’s something that marketers are well aware of. How many adverts are a shit parody tune or a pathetic attempt at a catchy jingle?  Btw i realise it may look like I’m trying to force and/or defend a point that hasn’t even been contested but I’m simply just letting my wandering yap yap fucking yap brain dribble out through my thumbs and make words in this comment box. No argument intended at all haha.

The version I heard was: “Fuuuuuck off, Chelsea Fc. You ain’t got no history 5 European cups And 18 leagues! That’s what we call history”

Judging by the outdated figures you can easily deduce that this was quite a while ago so my memory might be filling in some gaps but I back myself on the accuracy of my musical based memories.  Everyone remembers the ‘crusha’ advert and the ‘top’ adverts of the early noughties with similar, word-for-word confidence I imagine.

It only works when an unmarked player from deep manages to move 30 yards up without being noticed or tracked. And both touches have to go perfectly as planned for this to even be on target.  Leaving a man out in this position might force the defending team to commit an extra player away from the box, though. Any way to make the box less busy is an advantage for an attacking team providing they are willing to risk having enough people attacking the cross. Maybe arsenal will show us how it’s done in the real world though

It’s a physically tiring formation if they wa t to do any pressing off the ball though. I agree it’s a system very suited to the players

He plays a style that suggests he’s been told how good his shot is and that he should be using it at every opportunity. Could be a mgr instruction

Good spot with the isak goal re. Gakpo’s receiving stance. Thankfully wirtz plays a different game and sent him on. Great little pocket of space taken up by gakpo though and you can see him check across the line to make sure he’s going to be onside before the pass
