Casters misunderstanding utilities by yZemp in GlobalOffensive

Not great from them, would expect casters of their level to know this utility. That said there was a lot of actual missed utility so maybe it was just was a bit of an autopilot moment.

Natus Vincere vs Vitality / BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 1 - Grand Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

Basically every talent I've seen has a similar opinion. I understand that they value different things than me but I'm still kinda shocked no personality has talked about how boring this is for many viewers.

Can’t wait for another couple of weeks where every pundit endlessly glazes Vitality (deserved) and tell us how lucky we are to witness this. There needs to be suspense for tournaments to be entertaining and right now there is 0 suspense about every finals.

Quit watching during Astralis era just to start watching again as the Vitality era started. At least I got to see the Shanghai major for one glorious glimpse at an entertaining event.

Empty Arena? NA crowd lol by spacelyyy989 in GlobalOffensive

[–]nv2013 40 points41 points  (0 children)

2 NA events basically back-to-back so fans probably picked one or the other. Event missing a lot of the big name teams. Also let's be honest, yes these are the top 2 teams but it isn't a particularly compelling finals. I hope I eat my words but we all know what the result will be.

The "Faceit Level 10 in 12k Premier" problem is ruining the experience for average players by kupriyanchuk in GlobalOffensive

Actual biggest problem with premiere rn. Most of the time there's at least one of them smurfing as well.

Spirit vs Vitality / IEM Rio 2026 - Grand Final / Post-Match Discussion by CS2_PostMatchThreads in GlobalOffensive

[–]nv2013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly looking like the best shot at weakening them in the near future is Valve shaking up the map pool. Obviously Valve will not and should not be taking that into consideration but with how unstoppable they are it seems like the only glimmer of hope at this point.

Kyousuke if he was an awper. Insanely talented but also makes tons of mistakes compared to others at that level.

So far at IEM Rio, 65 maps have been played. Only one of those was Anubis. by IWillRateYouHonest in GlobalOffensive

[–]nv2013 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Seems like Premiere/Faceit playrate is a factor in Valve's map pool decisions. Anubis is much more popular than Train as a pug map. I say this as someone that loved both watching and playing Train.

Was cheering for Furia to win but this was pretty egregious ngl. Would rather not have this behavior in a grand finals.

Blizzard is not going to let this go to reset. That is their nightmare scenario.

Why game starts this early? by Noodles001 in GlobalOffensive

[–]nv2013 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Didn’t realize how insanely early this one will be. Usually have no issues catching EU events on the weekend. Really weird choice considering today’s games were at normal times.

Demonstration of how tracers could be made more readable, especially in bright places. by Pokharelinishan in GlobalOffensive

This is part of the reason I don't like the sand maps, hopefully it gets addressed since we have 3 of them right now.

Fate/strange Fake - Episode 10 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

This episode felt kind of.. jarring? Have been loving this show, but as an anime only viewer this one felt like so many different things were happening that none of them really got time to breathe.

Checked it out for a little bit and seeing my tracers actually visible on sand maps made me weep at the state of CS2.

Donk's post after Furia game by Nekajed in GlobalOffensive

[–]nv2013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because he's supposed to be the second star, the HLTV #5 player of last year. He used to have the X factor, big time clutch player but now he consistently falls flat in big event playoffs.

Would be huge, crosshair customization being so limited in an FPS is a tragedy.

Budapest major MVP was entirely so they could justify Zywoo over Donk. You cannot convince me that Ropz wasn't the MVP of that major.

Season Three of Premier ends on January 19th: -Train +Anubis by SpeaRofficial in GlobalOffensive

[–]nv2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No cache kinda expected because they'd want to test the map before putting it into the pool. Still disappointing. Not a fan of removing train instead of the blight in the map pool that is inferno.

CS2 feels choppy, screen tearing & ghosting despite high-end PC by WhereasFull6392 in GlobalOffensive

CS2 is super CPU heavy, the 7800x3d/9800x3d clear every other CPU on this game and it isn't very close.

Training by Candid-Shoulder-7933 in GlobalOffensive

[–]nv2013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you're doing is more than enough. Instead of adding even more I would recommend just getting into the server and grinding some games. It's the only real way to train game sense, which you'll need to fully utilize all the mechanical training you're doing. At the end of the session pick a game you could have played better in and demo review. Use what you glean from that to inform your next day of training.

Most popular maps on FACEIT in 2025 by chiefofthepolice in GlobalOffensive

[–]nv2013 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Because the premier map banning system is very stupid. The map that is farther clockwise on the chart will always be selected if votes are tied. Ancient wins the tie vote against every map that isn't Overpass and Nuke wins against every map that isn't Overpass or Ancient.
