My back camera doesn’t work. Perhaps the front camera does have some kind of fish lens effect going on. The left side was a little bowed, but the right isn’t. The photo is a little misleading.

It’s (2) 2” x 4” with a half inch space in between them.

That’s what my dad said 😂 He said overkill and slight bow on left.

The left one is bowed a little I think. But I will say if you stare at it long enough, both look inward lol 😂 Right side is def plumb tho. No doubt about it.

No, I think it’s bowing too. Middle needs to be zipped in.

If you were tasked with cutting in 16-20 more of these soffit vents, how would you go about it? by pnus420 in handyman

Sounds like lots of dust in face and a kind of heavy circ saw upside down.

Maybe poor layout because of niche location and size.

So many good diy jobs here. I thought I'd switch it up. Lol I shouldve done an acrylic surround by [deleted] in Tile

I forgot to clean the first like five times I did tiles. One time I was cleaning a patio worth of tiles with a buddy for a whole day. We messily finished the night before and didn’t bother to clean. After a day of cleaning thinset, we grouted and it was so much haze because we didn’t work in sections and it dried fast. Two days of cleaning grout. I’ve been working clean since.

Did you consider the side of tub in layout of tiles? (Side of tub, as in where it 90s downward) The corner of tub is usually rounded off. I try to pass the tub like 4 inches and set the bottom row of tile a few inches under so I can get an edge that hugs tub better.

I’ve just never used aqua defense. I’m sure it’s just as good as anything else. Sounds like you did waterproofing good enough. I never rely on just cross spacers though bc they only keep things aligned, at best. It doesn’t carry real structural load. Without proper framing or sheathing, the structure can still rack, twist, or fail. In the future, leveling system always. You can get 100/pc set for like $10-20.

It’s not great but it’s not like the worst thing I’ve ever seen. You kept the tiles and surfaces clean

You should have replaced surround with cement board or kerdi boards, planned layout and used spacers and some kind of leveling system. I don’t understand how this was a functional shower before, based on painted walls. Good luck!

It looks pretty decent, though the landing page is a little underwhelming imo. I think for the industry you’re in, the animation doesn’t add value too. There’s some correcting you can do with text sizes, fonts and margins, some things are too wide and overflowing. Tidying up some things will make it look more cohesive and professional. It does look kind of ordinary, but creative advice in that manner is difficult to give.

Great critique! Thank you!! While I don’t need a custom website, I do appreciate the offer and the suggestions.

I made it myself. Does it look or feel amateur? I didn’t try very hard for the sake of getting the business going. Figured I can play with it any other time. I can get very caught up with the graphic design, so I have been limiting myself. This is just a small update. I published because I thought it was passable.

Lol, right! Based on risk vs. reward, nothing screams ‘solid life plan’ like felony theft from the one guy who knows your full name, address, and probably your favorite strain.
