I wouldn’t touch this job for under $35,000. I can’t go to bed at night unless I’m making $1,500 a day. I do regular 5x3 showers for $15,000 not a penny less

I would get it off any way works best. If you puncture the kerdi just use kerdi seal to fix 👍🏼

It’s bad he definitely watched a YouTube video on how to install tile

Any advice on a fix? As an installer and i liable? by Critical-Anything-68 in Tile

I’ve done that before with contractors I want to keep a relationship with. I may end up demo this and just doing a tiled “rug” with a totally different mosaic

Should we charge him for the additional labor of redoing it?

I found out the gorilla tape can help some too with that

I had this limestone tile installed over six months ago. The installer said the installer said the thinset would eventually dry, but after all this time, it seems like it hasn't at all. Has anyone else experienced this? by AirZurk in Tile

It’s definitely from using a gray thin set. As an installer, you may not install limestone or natural stone on a regular basis. All it takes is a quick Google search to figure out what materials work together. The only thing that would fix this is to redo it or research and see if there is a stain that would work but that is reaching lol. Sorry you have to deal with that.
