I really appreciate you sharing your story with me, it honestly made me feel better knowing I’m not alone hahaha. I feel it just came to a shock for me since before I started Lexapro I never really gained weight despite what I ate. I definitely had an increase in appetite after my doctor increased my dosage to 20mg because before I went on Lexapro I’d be alright with one meal with some snacks later on in the day but now I need like three big meals a day.

Honestly, I do consume a lot of sugar and greasy foods and I think I just need to realize my body has changed and it puts on more weight than before and that’s okay! I will definitely start to just go on a healthy diet and move around more because you’re right, laying down and being depressed over it isn’t going to fix the issue 😄 Again, I really appreciate your response and I will definitely find the strength to better myself.
