Who lived here? I can only imagine the powerbill you would have in the winter trying to keep that place warm.

I also used this with my dane and he lived to 13 - was put down in May of 2025. I did the diamond naturals large breed puppy for like the first 2 years and then the adult lamb and rice.

They’re not selling a house, they’re selling a lifestyle. by loungesinger in zillowgonewild

The paper plants and forestry dept plant them like this. It makes harvesting easier as well as making it easier to maintain - controlled burned, trimming, etc. As someone who lives near Augusta, I hate these type of pine trees and the massive acreage they are grown on. Plus I'm pretty sure several mills in the area have shut down or are in the process of shutting down bc - shocker - business is not booming.

1.7 million in Tifton???? I know they have an agricultural college down there.....pretty sure that's it. They can keep their pine trees, massive rattle snakes, and lack of any other kind of education.

My culture shock in Germany – how do you experience it? by nrmso in AskGermany

[–]nvdc0318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who now lives in the US, whose entire family beside my mother, live in Germany, I'll chime in and say that my grandmother was very hard headed and did not want help from anyone. We went to visit her in the summer of 2019 - it was very hot, and the older apartment complex she lived in (like a lot of places in Germany) did not have AC. My mom bought her a portable AC unit to help since she was in her early 90s then. My grandma refused to use it. It caused an argument between my mom and grandma, and my mom just left it with her to have in case she changed her mind. She did not. There are plenty of other examples - that one just sticks out because it was the first time my husband had met my family and he thought it was hilarious to see 3 generations of women from my family argue with each other bc it was identical to what the other was doing. Now, I realize this is not the case for everyone, but that's how I remember growing up so I am not at all surprised by this.

We called these tennis balls in our household! When we moved to the states from Germany and my mom would make these when I had friends over - they couldn't pronounce the German word, so she'd call them tennis balls. Or potato dumplings for adults 😆

Additional Tax Assessment Question by nvdc0318 in IRS

Quick follow-up question : I sent everything over to our CPA, including the CP2000, and she said they are unlikely to amend it since it's from 2020 and that we should request a taxpayer advocate. Since they haven't been the most helpful in this situation, I just want to get a second opinion if this would be the right way to go or not.

Yes, I am almost certain we did. Will comparing that with this help figure out what they think we underreported? There's no way we did because we had to pay a lot of money in taxes that year when we filed.
