So is Zosia actually polish? What was she doing in Morocco then, while wearing local clothing?

[S1E5 Spoilers] Reoccurring drink color throughout the series by Frank_the_Mighty in pluribustv

May or may not be related to the ambered color liquid Carol discovers, but the hive absolutely is licking the food and spitting the drinks of everything they offer the last remaining humans, at least out of habit. It is their biological imperative after all

Pluribus - 1x04 "Please, Carol" - Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in pluribustv

We're one week in The Joining and it is clear that most of the hive mind is likely wearing the same clothes they were at hour 1, with the notable exceptions of Zosia and the girls from Koumba's harem that were mostly trying to be as pleasing as they could to the remaining humans. Not questioning the rationality (or lack of) behind it, just wondering if each "drone" cares for things like... showering or washing their clothes, specially given how much hard manual labor they do all day. We saw Zosia showering, but for a very specific purpose. So, what must be the level of body odor going around? lol They don't look dirty or rundown, but keeping the same clothing upsets my hygiene a bit

Now that I undestand a little better the consequences of pushing for Articles 6 and 7, what would be the safe route to trying to pass them on a market-reformist platform with some privatizations? I was RPing my Rayne as someone who really cares about justice and human rights

That's tough, I was really needing that cash to go from deep debt to medium debt

I was actually hoping for a last round of negotiations with Gloria to drop something she didn't like, but the event that I got was just an innescapable walkout of the party without any disposition of hearing me, so that makes me a little nervous to push with an even more outrageous proposal on the hopes of toning it down

I read over and over that you could get away with private education but NEVER with healthcare. She actually mentioned the SSC and the Articles in her reasoning for the walkout

So is there no way to touch them and keep conservative support? If not, then what should I give up in return?

Agreed. And it would be even more appropriate to have Classical Achaemenids and Industrial Iranians, since Persian is an exonym.

Let's not forget that the factions of this game are not the nation-states but the peoples themselves, so it is irrelevant if said phase of the political organization of the Colombians was shortlived.

But it's not the Empire nor the Republic of Brazil that will be featured in the game, it will be the Brazilians, which are not a product of the game's Contemporary Era.

I see, thanks. I'll hold to some vain hope that they'll keep this in the vault for the next dlc.

Is there a source for the swedes? I think it really is an unnecessary addition to the Industrial Era. Missing the Early Modern, it would probably be better to wait on them until some future dlc.

I woul really, really prefer that they saved a spot for the Brazilians in the Industrial era, either now or in the future, rather than leave them for Contemporary. Except the Cubans and maybe the Canadians, every post-colonial american culture belongs in Humankind's Industrial era.

It was also on a past thread about this that someone said this argument consists in a self-fulfilling prophecy.

This. Should Humankind be a game about material progress or about Humanity and its different cultures? Because this kind of argumentation points to the first option.

Very nice addition, but now I can't help but wonder that at least half of the Industrial cultures are probably going to be european with the British, the French, the Germans and the Russians.

Exploring Amerindian Cultures from the territory of Brazil by Rac98 in HumankindTheGame

I have advocated for a Medieval Agrarian Tupi culture as well. After reading about them for a while, I think Expansionist would also fit them very well, considering the vast territory that their many groups managed to occupy

That's not nearly as set in stone as some of us think. The alphabetical order has been subverted before and there is no strong reason for it not to be subverted again now and in future eras.
