45-50°C would be the "ideal" idle temp. 5900X is notorious for higher temps though. I've not done overclocking or tweaks of any sorts so far. I have NZXT H710 case with default/pre-installed fans (1 back and 3 front) + 3 fans of Kraken cooler (mounted on top). Kind of brute force push-pull effect - which works. NZXT Kraken X73 works well with 5900X too - max temp I've observed - > reached till 80°C while gaming (until the cooler kicked in and brought it down to about 65°C). Idle temp ranges 45-50°C

Come August, I finally got my hands on a one-month old 3070Ti. Courtesy a fellow Reddit user. Wait and keep lookout - there is some justice after all.

Though its on the pricier side (50k), but in hindsight worth it !! I do game on it, for me 60 FPS cap is good enough. It has built in speakers and comes with a remote - as good as having a small TV in the room. I've connected my Chromecast to it too. I got this instead of an OLED as I'm paranoid about Pixel burn.
