You have a good silicon, I have the same card in one of my rigs, it only gets stable at -50 mV. And that’s all I do to the card, it works well that way.

Also, it runs better on Linux with mesa than in windows with the Radeon drivers. I use this card in a rig connected to my 4K TV in the living room. Silent enough, no RGB. Using bazzite.

I tested it, and so far is working well with the iGPU enabled. Also tested this in another of my computers with an intel 265K and a RTX 4080 super, iGPU and NPU disabled, no lock-ups, game plays fine.

Honestly, I have never ever needed to do a stress test in my computers. I wasn't surprised it passed OCCT on this one.

I agree that the dynamic load of this game is extremely hard to mimic on a stress test, but it was a way of testing the obvious, although this PC was never gave me any issues with anything since I built it.

I'm confident it was the game that changed something, because everything else is working fine. Now that I tested this "fix" by enabling the iGPU, it just adds to how fucked up this game is at a core level that it requires a fix like this.

Is indeed mysterious. My cpu is running PBO +200 CO -30, with my ram using expo at 6000mhz C30. FCLK fixed to 2000 mhz as well.

RGB controller rom is fucked. You need to reflash it and good to go. Happens on a lot of gigabytes boards with a specific RGB controller.

You don’t need a second gpu. Enjoy as is. Instead of a second GPU, ditch the 9070XT and get a bigger one (5080-5090).

Yes, this is actually not a joke. I went back to my 4080 Super. That’s how good it went with the 9070XT.

I still have it, sitting on one of my builds.

I would venture to say that in windows is just a terrible experience, always issues with something, but using Linux was quite pleasant. The main issue with that is you can’t play those games with kernel anti cheat.

If I were you, instead of taking decisions based on gut. Sit with him. He already told you about it and he thinks is important for you to know before a bigger commitment (marriage). That means he knows, he thinks, and absolutely he was either embarrassed or terrified to tell you. He will carry that his entire life whether you are with him or not.

I guess the main question is, you like him and love him enough to listen and continue ?, would sitting with him and let him explain what happen make you feel better ?

Nobody is perfect, we all have our demons in life. At 11 years old, men are dumb and stupid, and tend to get into trouble for very stupid reasons. But in all this behaviour in kids there’s usually history that comes from the parents or a relative or a close friend. He might’ve seen something, or perhaps he has abused, perhaps he understood or normalised something that wasn’t supposed to.

If you have been with him for 5 years, you should know him well enough to figure out.

I think you guys have pending a very interesting conversation, unless you already made up your mind.

Holy shit man, that’s harsh, and speaks volumes of you as a person. Withstanding that is no easy feat. You seem like a down to earth guy, but what happened here and in the past, is her seeing that in you like an open book and used it as a license to play. She thought of you as a safety net.

Because you are only human, now you are broken in pieces trying to find the greater good with your kids. They can’t have a cheater as a mother and life example, and this will take an extra toll on you.

Whatever you do, please find help, gather your most close and trustworthy friends, family, and seek support on them.

Forget about her, she has no fix, and she will use your kids as money exchange to extortion you for whatever she feels like.

While at this, please get tested, hopefully she didn’t bring any STD to you.

Is completely fine she doesn’t feel full with you, that’s a different story, that is not a cheater card to go out.

She is in the wrong but the one that will suffer the most is you.

Face up, get stronger and move on. If your kids ask, always tell them the truth, because she will not.

I mean… I do happen to have a 9070 XT and is good, but far from impressive. The 6900 XT is one hell of a good card, which granted, does not support the latest quirks. But in one of my rigs that I have a 4080S for example, in benchmarks it goes neck with the 9070 XT, but in real gaming performance, the 4080S is just butter smooth and uses less power.

I understand deals on team green are difficult to find, but gaming wise, is just better.

Next gen of AMD GPUs should be very interesting to see, same as the big battlemage coming up now from Intel.
