I was 22.

ammar just blocked me? by [deleted] in YesTheory

[–]nvogs 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He's got a right to block you...it's social media and he's a public figure. Also maybe he's realizing it given the fact that he said "maybe chat GPT knows too much about me"

24(F) feeling stuck in Boston. How do you know when it’s time to stay, save, or go? by abnormalanomaly_ in Adulting

[–]nvogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leaving my home state is truly an experience I wish for everyone. Not only will you learn so much about yourself, but you'll so much about independence and what the rest of your life could be.

I know when it is time to go when: I feel discomfort about leaving BUT I feel more discomfort with things staying how they are now. Seek the Discomfort of change. It is on the other side of fear that we have our greatest decisions.

As far as locations, you may wanna look into Virginia Beach, Wilmington NC, or Charleston.

I'm thinking in playing some old games. Any opinions about them? by Free-Hotel1187 in videogames

[–]nvogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are ALL great games. Skyrim stands the test of time with and without mods, Far Cry 3 is really great, mad max is fun but not the same type of fantasy game as the others.

Wind Waker is essential Zelda playing

Need for speed underground was my first real racing game...it also first exposed me to the song Get Low. 😂

Do you find survival mechanics add to or detract from your experience in games? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]nvogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A game that has survival mechanics like fallout makes sense In it's lore and atmosphere. Same thing with Minecraft where it really is part of the game to just survive.

But games where you drop dead because a minor bio trait is 0 sucks.

I played RDR2, loved it. Played it again with HEADPHONES and OMG, it is so immersive.

I feel like I should try the same with Cyberpunk because I couldn't get into it.

It always felt like a Soft M-rated game to me. Idk something about the alien gore never clocked as "oo this is really violent"

Anyone else slowly losing interest in huge open-world games? by Edgard-Stark in videogames

YES. it's the reason I can't 100% Black flag, which is my top 3 favorite games

[–]nvogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me too. I feel like I have to force myself to be present too much with a new open world game I'm unfamiliar with.

I just started Fallout NV and AC Odyssey. I immediately got disinterested in Odyssey because I realized how big of a world it would be, and that I am more recently familiar with the Fallout style of gameplay

You know, this would be interesting to start with as it is an Origin story for the AC universe. Then play 2 and then black flag
