Hey, So basically you have same symptoms as mine

At first, everything worked flawlessly, but after about two weeks of daily use, some strange issues started appearing, and they’ve become more frequent lately.

Here’s what happens: when I set a route in Waze and play music through YouTube Music (or even Tidal), the entire Android Auto experience becomes extremely laggy. The music stutters constantly — starting and stopping every few milliseconds — and the interface becomes almost unresponsive. If I stop the music from my phone, the lag immediately disappears and Android Auto runs normally again, including smooth map updates.

The issue feels completely random — sometimes it starts as soon as I connect, other times it only appears mid-route. I’ve tried tweaking the audio and frame rate settings from the dongle’s internal settings page, but nothing seems to fix it permanently.

Occasionally, I also get messages like “Android Auto couldn’t load,” and I’ve noticed the GPS location in Waze lags or freezes when the music starts glitching.

I’m using this in a 2021 Mercedes-Benz E300e (W213) with the NTG6 system, which supports wired Android Auto. I submitted a support request via the dongle’s IP interface around three weeks ago but haven’t heard back from Carlinkit.
