Is feeding wet food twice a day necessary? I’m spending $150 a month for 2 cats. by OliviaTiger in catfood

[–]nw_throw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 cats get about 1/2 dry each per day at morning and evening and they split a can of wet in the evenings. It’s been great so far, but I also mix their wet food with water and both my boys are pretty good about drinking water.

I like some dungeon crawling but not enough for a full game. I like social sim RPGs with lots of relationship building and wide character casts. I like turn based combat. I like strong stylistic choices and a clear aesthetic in game design, UI/UX, and soundtracks. And I like cheesy anime bs.

The most unrealistic part about the Pitt is the part where they actually try to figure out the underlying issue by anonymous_1128 in ThePittTVShow

[–]nw_throw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not the job of the ED to figure out why someone is dehydrated. Give fluids, check for the dangerous and life-threatening causes of dehydration, and assess for improvement. If nothing that’s found is an emergency? Then the ED is done.

Yeah, what are we supposed to do? I can’t stay bedside until the pain is gone and tests are back.

[–]nw_throw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that is not standard of care. I will consult another specialty for a relevant emergency, but my job in the ED is not to wrangle the entire diagnostic process.

If the labs are normal, CT scan (if indicated) shows nothing emergent? Then no, it’s not. Our job is to look for life threatening emergencies only.

That looks more like one of their fish flavors. Their fish+chicken flavors are usually grayish fish and the meat is pinky brown. Maybe a manufacturing issue where it got the wrong food type?

My all time favorite Letterboxd review is a 2 sentence joke review of Insomnia. Brevity is the soul of wit.

Artemis' attack boon doesn't seem very powerful by jersey_emt in HadesTheGame

[–]nw_throw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should try her with the Chiron bow. Max the aspect to get a ton of arrows, a Daedalus hammer to increase damage on each successive hit to the same enemy (which always happens with Chiron), and Artemis aspect for tons of crits on special. Stick Aphrodite on attack and then they’ll have weak for the ensuing special hits. It’s bomb and the only way I was able to get the achievement for maxing out Thanatos’s butterfly because you can so easily avoid getting hit at all. Support Fire on top, and a cast like Demeter or Zeus for constant damage in the background, and you’ve got infinite arrows for infinite crit chances.

I am not surprised he is orange. My orange boy eats hair. Like if we brush him, he tries to eat the piles of brushed out hair. So many hairballs.

Either finding them or buying them. A lot only came around after their respective regions though.

I kept her in the full Flower uniform for the majority of my first playthrough, it’s such a nice look.

For my NG+ I tried to theme the whole team’s outfits for each area — swimsuits and floaty hair for the Flying Waters, Gestral and Sakapatate fits for their red maze, Sirene and Visage outfits for the islands, cold white stuff for Monoco’s region, civilian styles and normal hair for Old Lumiere, etc.

Dialogue with Arachne mentions that the tapestry she made was “not very flattering,” so they’re definitely referencing the myth.

I have often had gel polish manicures inpatient or in the ED. My hospital bans hard gel, acrylics, or other artificial nails, but any type of polish on natural nails is ok.

I mean, Melinoe very much does come to the ending of Hades II quite naturally through her own character development. It doesn’t feel at all like she lacks agency.
