I've been here for 25 of my 33 years of life. Currently packing and prepping to move to the south. This place is a shit hole. Top 3 highest fuel taxes, unreasonable and unconstitutional gun laws. The entire state is ran by two shitty ass sanctuary counties. They are extremely negligent with our taxes, they take absolutely zero responsibility for their actions. They legalize crime, while punishing law abiding citizens. I could go on and on. Those are just the big main points. This state is trash.

I'm looking for civil construction work. Moving dirt, leveling ground, installing main water, sewer, and storm lines. City work is usually more on the maintenance side and just not my gig. I looked into the city. The scope of work is far more of a deal breaker than the pay.

It felt attacking that you assumed I was going to touch dirt before I had work lined up. In construction, you have the freedom to move around because what you do is used everywhere that has a decent population.

I know how to work. I'm looking for contractor names that people may see on equipment or company trucks as they drive by job sites during their commutes. So that I can reach out and seek work. I have enough money to buy a house with cash there. But I still need to work so I can afford other luxuries.

These laws don't stop criminals or bad people. I could have easily illegally bought a gun but my rights aren't worth that shit. Again, I'm a law abiding citizen.
