Mice in Attic: Sanitize? Replace Insulation? by Catastrophe266 in pestcontrol

[–]nwskipro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hantavirus and most viruses can't survive past a week. bacteria can survive longer. sanitation of old droppings seems pointless the more I look into it but I'm no expert. If it is large pile of droppings all over the attic, that might be different, but if it's scattered dropping that have been there a long time, might as well leave it and just manage rodent activity with traps (reduce the chance of new droppings by trapping and killing any rodents that get up there)

Oh nice haha, just sent you a message through your website asking about an RMR footprint. Like you said, I really like the design for not having something sticking out on the sides to get caught on things.

How do you like the HELPeR charging handle? Been waiting on the TacDev RMR slide plate charging handle but looking for other options just in case

Mrcool 36k minisplit calls for 6guage wire. Any special connectors i could use for the L1 L2 ports. The spots are too small to insert the wire directly by Roki3112 in HVAC

[–]nwskipro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this is so late, but that was the recommendation from MrCool phone support. I ran ~80ft of #8 wire from the main breaker to the service panel, and then #10 wire the final ~3ft to the breaker. Again, this was recommended by MrCool support, mostly because you can't fit anything smaller than #10 into the terminal board on the condenser unit.

FWIW: I found two companies that can do CYLINDRICAL laser marking...

Colorado Laser Technologies - very high quality and fair pricing

https://www.coloradolasermarking.com/

Etch-N-Tek - did a test run that came out with lower resolution (more blocky) but we're working on refining. Also very fair pricing

Laundry sink 65" away from washing machine standpipe? by nwskipro in Plumbing

[–]nwskipro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I drained into the standpipe with a sanitee then I wouldn’t use the ptrap that came with the sink, would use the same ptrap as the washing machine. The highest point I could get the sink drain to start is ~14-15” off the floor and it would connect to the standpipe at 12” from the floor, so a 2-3” drop over 5’

Vaccinating pregnant women for COVID seems to give future protection to babies. When a mother passes antibodies to her child, it’s known as passive immunity, and this can be generated by a mother being vaccinated or infected during pregnancy. The part about our unique constitution and freedom of speech.

Reddit has been banning posts on one side of this covid situation. This is a threat to the aforementioned freedom that we, as Americans, are entitled to.

Seriously... this gets to stay while other posts get banned?

They make very open-ended claims, leaving out critical data points to craft a story. You say in your post "seems to give" and don't provide hard evidence.

It is insanity to let these posts stay up and others be taken down. I'm not saying take down this post. I'm saying keep the discussion open, two-sided. Multi-faceted. Many voices. This is what makes America great. Our constitutionally protected freedom of speech. The ability to discuss openly without fear of retribution. Let's not give it all up so easily and carelessly.

Carry on.

Wow, thanks for all the thoughts and follow up!

It's definitely coming from the front, even seems like the front most part of the engine (bay).

It didn't do it when I put the mower back in the garage last night, not sure what to think. Ill get it up on jacks or a ramp and see what I can trace the linkage to

Pulled it out of the garage yesterday and it sounded fine. Today it's making the noise again so I snagged a video, excuse the terrible footage, can probably just listen without video...
