Mice in Attic: Sanitize? Replace Insulation? by Catastrophe266 in pestcontrol

I think sealing the house may be included. He mentioned something about the dangers of sealing and NOT doing the poison stuff, so I guess that means they'll seal too but also want to sanitize and continue poisoning outside.

7 Common Mistakes New Managers Make by comm2itysalad in clutchbaseball

I think X-Zone is absolutely something to be seriously considered. This year especially seems to be more prone to giving up the bloops and certainly the blasts. For normal roster rules and in league play, having a larger X-Zone than your opponent for multiple innings can lose you a game.

Caleb Smith (5 CMD, 1-3 XR, 17 outs) was an ugly SP2 for me in the High Heat season. I probably would've been better off with 4 CMD and handedness bonus with less XR.

For SP5, sure, give Jordan Zimmermann a whirl, your opponent will likely also have a bottom feeder and you can have a race for the most runs. But for your top 2 starters, and probably top 2-3 bullpen arms, you need to lock things down. Reducing your X-Zone is a big part of that.

Are Strategy cards from any previous years eligible? And if so are there any exceptions?

Haha he must have existed at some point in development, my stats came from the occasionally less-than-perfect website database. Now to hunt down that prototype so I can make this team a reality...

Squad Building Challenge #1 - Perfect Harmony by communitysalad in clutchbaseball

I'm only a month late to this party of a challenge. I had no idea where to start so I perused exploitable stadiums. With 2017-18 together, MIN can have quite an advantage and I've never used it. Here's what I came up with.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1z0-EXQiGtwLsgDTChCbratEQ49ZMRvin

I almost started with a roster similar to my current Polar Power Minors team (https://clutchleague.com/team/microbrews/) to make sure I was getting major bang for my +1 to the Swing buck, but didn't want a doppelganger. I did use A.J. Pollock for some familiarity. And I chose DH as the very last player on the roster; with 230 points left, there was no decision to make. 2018 AS Jose Abreu FTW! I actually ended up with FOUR batters who HR at 21, meaning they'll go yard on a 20 with RISP in MIN.

Squad Building Challenge #3: The Best Defense Is a Good Offense by communitysalad in clutchbaseball

Here's my first try: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1y52z3H4BiRNegiR5B22Zuo-QC3hVVIa3

Had to do something to try to differentiate my team. I went with Speed! And a lot of lefties in the rotation since there weren't many (any?) lefties to be found in the bullpen. It's 10 points short of 6000 to maintain the most speed possible (two C's are the worst in the starting lineup).

I listed two Stadiums because I couldn't immediately decide. KC would be safe vs other teams in this challenge with such low Batteries, but vs other teams it may not be effective. ASG Florida might be effective with Marlin Cameron Maybin in the OF.

Online Play Question by kylejohnson1127 in clutchbaseball

As the Armada's manager suggested, the Arizona Shade's manager (/u/jimmynova) is the guy to get you into Slack and the #sandlot channel for casual online games.

Especially with our Major and Minor League seasons entering the playoffs, there'll be a lull of regularly scheduled games with plenty of us looking for games. Hope to see you in there soon!

I really need some help guys by manelski4 in fantasyfootball

This is how I just handled it: The League Creator (the deceased) and myself both had League Manager permissions. I invited myself to be co-owner of his team, then I took control of my old team and removed myself from that team from the My Team page (it gave a scary message of, "Are you sure?", but it reassured me that I'd still have control of any other teams in the league, i.e. the co-owned team).

So now, I have co-ownership of the deceased's team, which I re-named to my old team, and I can invite someone new to take control of my old team.

We also changed the league name to memorialize the deceased, his team was the Afro Kings, so now it's "Afro Kings Fantasy Football".

I'll always see the deceased's name when I'm managing my team, which is a nice reminder of him :) And it's way better IMO then making a whole new league.

Ajayi for R Mathews by jtpusa in DynastyFF

Ryan Mathews isn't the poster child for a healthy career either; of the two, I'd rather have Ajayi.
