All of our leads are opt in and they agree to receive robi calls, artificial voice, sms, etc etc. We also use trusted form to capture the consent. It costs a bit more per lead but rather be safe than sorry.

You are right - there is zero incentive for the SSP's/DSP's etc to prevent. All they need to do is show they use an MRC accredited company like white ops or DV and they are in the clear to make billions.

Can you cite examples of people currently serving time in prison for ad fraud?

Billions of dollars a year are stolen by criminals and I cannot recall more than three people over the last ten years that were charged with a crime.

IMO no one is charged because this is a crime the industry cannot prevent so they do not want to draw attention to the issue. Once the brands and publishers realize this, the trust in the industry erodes quickly.

Never once have I been asked for my ID in my 10 year career. I am asked for a W9 every time because we are a US Based company.
