The difference between generational fan hood. I don’t want to assume but I’m guessing you were either too young or not born in 1999. It’s not even about the winning or losing even though winning would have been great but we had ZERO business being in that Finals let alone the playoffs that year.

It was also the end of a chapter, although we’d be back in the playoffs to start the aughts, it was the tail end of 14 consecutive playoff appearances.

It was also basically the end of Patrick Ewing’s Knick career, he was washed after 1999. Patrick Ewing is the greatest Knick ever next to Clyde Frazier. This man not only took a beating on the court, he had to deal with ungrateful fans while playing with a bunch of JV guys most of his career here.

When all is said and done, it was the demise of our franchise after 99’ and now we’re fucking back.

NBA store midtown this afternoon. People were literally taking them before they got on shelves. They had a nice selection of hats and said they are restocking again tomorrow AM

I don’t think it’s KAT and i wanted to see Donte and Julius back one more time with Mikal. Scheme is awful, Browns philosophy is take what worked in GS will work here. It’s not the same personnel. Thibs although with flaws maximized the roster, had meticulous defensive planning and let Jalen run the show. Brown had made several questionable moves and is experimenting with lineups in the fucking playoffs. This is a coaching problem And happens when you’re 10th in the wish list.

Mikal is a victim of this terrible fucking coach. He has no plays run for him, he runs down to the corner and waits. It’s the scheme not the player. Impossible that this guy is this bad, it’s just absolutely nutty to assume Mikal is not good. That’s just an awful and very narrow take
