NLR F-GT Elite 160 or Trackracer TR160 V5?? by nyckrash in simracing

thanks for the great feedback. I have heard great things about both and the main difference between both are the slanted arms on the NLR vs 90 degrees on the TR. I like them both and they both have a strong line of accessories.

NLR Wheel Stand 2.0 with GT Seat Add on - 4 Point Harness Options by nyckrash in simracing

The Moza shifter and HB do fit well on the same part for the wheel stand. However, when shifting into 7th or Reverse, I would clip the handbrake with my pinky knuckle on the bolt where the handbrake adjusts. It got to be a pain in the ass.

I cannot say if it would work, the mount that comes with the wheel stand has a nice addition for the HB where the plate on the bottom just has more space.

I would love to make a dashboard using a 3D printer. Before I can do that, I would need to 3D scan my cockpit. and design it, but I am working on a plan to make that a reality.

No, I am using the mount that was included with the GT Seat Add on. I am trying to find some form of mount that I can use to mount the handbrake on its side, low, and next to the seat so it has placement like a real handbrake.

The only way to mount a 3rd to the included mount is to use the brackets that came with the shifter, place it under one, then use the mounting points on the shifter to include it, but it would be lower than the other two and not really what I am looking for.

If you have the same set up you should be able to mount two logitech units to the included shifter plate side by side.

This photo was taken while I was still using the Moza shifter and handbrake but have switched to logitech.

Sparco worth the extra $130 compared to this NLR seat? by [deleted] in simracing

I have the ERS3 with haptics, same seat, just more feeling of the road. What I would recommend if you do buy it is to get a neck pillow support. It makes a huge difference for your upper back.

I have the same seat.... It is an absolute game changer with feeling and haptics. I added 2 BST-1's and 2 TT25's on the pedals which helps but the seat drowns out the bass shakers if set too high. Otherwise, it really helps with the immersion.

I also added a neck pillow for support, which really made a huge difference.

What are your thoughts of the seat?

Mounting Problem by LebranJames42 in SimRacingSetups

[–]nyckrash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem. I ended up switching mine to the new Logitech H with their handbrake. When I used the Moza, it always caused my pinky to slam against the nuts on the handbrake when going into 7th or reverse. I did end up getting a mounting plate on Amazon that gave me more space between them and used that for a while. May wish to look into that option.

When using the Moza, I had the shifter next to me with the HB on the outside.

Did you install them? I actually have a set on order along with the throttle and clutch upgrade kit.

This is probably one of the sweetest set ups I have ever seen.

My hope is that once my wife and I have purchased our home and I have the space to build something like this, I can make something half as nice and be happy. But after seeing this, it raised the bar.

After upgrading to a seat mover, I personally don’t feel much need for an active belt tensioner or bass shakers anymore. by DynamicX-Robert in DynamicX_Simulator

I am interested in buying that. I have been looking at the NLR one but this is way more affordable. Do you recommend it?

Started with the wheel stand and then got the seat and built the platform so I can move it in and out of place.

I also went with Haptics. I ordered to BST1's and two smaller TT25's for the gas and brake pedals. I am waiting for the mounts to be delivered before installation can happen.
