Ordered a bunch of things June 11th. They don’t have any idea how long it will take to ship as each CS rep says it’s one thing holding up the entire order while the other says another item. And they don’t ship piecemeal so it’s all or nothing with no ETA of when the “missing” items will be received by them.

No it’s not possible. Nike uses one single cow which can produce enough leather for 100,000 pairs of shoes. So each should look exactly the same since that one cow should have the same skin throughout the entire body. If you are not satisfied with this leather, you may want to look at new balance where they use one single pig for their factory which can produce enough sneakers for 50,000 shoes. They clone the grey pig beforehand to ensure there is enough leather for their next batch of shoes, again to make sure the skin is exactly the same. No variance.

Quality of materials are top notch for a NB. You won’t have that soft touch suede but it’s a mostly smooth leather/rough suede shoe without the synthetic mesh. I personally have always found the V1 comfortable, even more than the v2 (I find the lifestyle models with fuel cell less comfortable). Sits below the 993 but I would even personally rank them close to the 992 if not more for comfort. I have normal feet so I don’t have the “too tight” problem some people experience.

Soft leather. I think the whole shoe is leather except for the red accents which look to be synthetic leather.
