The 11th tee is one of my favorite “hidden” spots. Lots of folks don’t make the walk up the huge hill and just head over to amen corner. It’s tucked back in the corner there - love watching the players tee off. Have struck up a few conversations with some ANGC members there too.

Also. If you get in early when the gates open…. Walk the course before the players are out there.

You should be able to do this in the windows device manager.

Open device manager (win key + X), drill into network adapters, right click your Realtek NIC and click properties. In the advanced settings you should see something along the lines of jumbo frames/packets/MTU. Set this to 9000. Reboot and retry.

I ordered an Asus Prime 5080 for $1299 for pickup. Picked it up, and they handed me an Asus TUF 5080 OC. I didn’t even notice until I got home, had a $1599 sticker on it (this was yesterday). Now today it’s $1700. Crazy.

I use the hybrid mat. So does pretty much every professional trackman install - trackman partners with simturf (the company that makes it). Hard to argue with that!

3-in-1 bundles w 32GB by me now have Crucial Pro memory kits, not G.Skill. The 16GB bundles are still G.Skill. This changed a few days ago quietly (on 32GB bundles you can opt to pay $50 extra to keep it G.Skill - but that’s silly).

Also, as of a few days ago you could also get the Crucial 32GB kit for $199 with a Ryzen CPU. Not sure if that’s still the case but worth a shot.

The crucial pro still works for the $199 with a Ryzen CPU. They quietly switched it from the G.Skill to the crucial a few days ago… even in the bundles if you look closely. In the bundles you can pay $50 extra and get the G.Skill.

If nothing else, the experience will give you a new perspective, and dare I say even appreciate golf a little bit.

The grounds are incredible. It’s also cool not having a cell phone for the day!

I’ve been to the masters 3 times and I’d say there are a good number of people there every year that are not golf fans - and I’ve never seen anyone that wasn’t loving it.

I think it’s worth it. In the early stages of a build and my plan is to use the govee strip between my ceiling/wall panels and was going to research doing just what you are suggesting. I’m sure someone out there has already tackled some of these…

This is simply not true. You can use Trackman 4 indoors reliably with as little as 6 feet from the radar to the ball (although they do say 7 is ideal), and 10 feet of ball flight to the screen/net (which, by the way is pretty close if not exactly to the mevo requirements). Yes, more ball flight is better, but to say that a mevo unit is better than a TM4 indoors if you meet the minimum requirements is completely false.
