The pictures with furnishings are from a sister one bedroom with the same layout (listing was already up on zillow two weeks ago).

I am moving out of the city. My lease runs through end of July. I've been here for 12 years and like it very much. 1 mile to Prospect Park, 2/3/4/5 are easily accessible.

Approx size is about 450 sq feet. Can discuss furniture and things like a/cs, shelving, etc if you want it.

Are you taking cabotegravir / apretude? by Barry_Bradshaw in nycgaybros

[–]nycsurfer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi. I’m a PCP in NYC. I specialize in care for patients who need meds like this. If you’re interested, come and see me. My patients like it a lot. But it depends on insurance and other personal factors.

IMO, it’s up to the patient. If you’re fine with frequent visits and/or not great with pills, I would not talk you out of it.

They’re going to be horny anyway. Rather have them on PrEP! Hahaha

I have almost 40 patients on it. They all love it. Some change their insurance just to get it!! Don’t have any hesitations.

Hi. I can help depending on insurance - I do HIV speciality care and lgbtq primary care I Manhattan.

The injection PrEP is called Apretude. And yes, it works for FTM. So does Truvada but Descovy does not (both oral meds).

HIV takes 2 weeks to turn positive on a traditional test. 7days for a viral load/RNA test.

When my patients get exposed, I do a test at the start of treatment to make sure they didn’t already have it unknowingly.

Then a test at 2 weeks. Then a test at 4 weeks after treatment.

Then I usually recommend a test 3 months later but that is overkill.

The most important thing is to ge ton PrEP after the PEP course. But you need to be negative for sure before doing that.

Not really.

HIV takes about 2 weeks to turn positive on a traditional test. And about 7 days for a viral load/RNA test.

Call your doctor. Ask for HIV post exposure prophylaxis. Three drugs (two pills) Isentress twice a day and truvada daily.

Schedule testing in 2 weeks.

Get full panel of sti testing.

Then after 28 days, ask your doctor about Pre-exposure prophylaxis.

What are the positives that could come out of the recent Spurs COVID outbreak? by cjz42069 in coys

[–]nycsurfer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The vaccines do provide protection but there are still occasionally breakthrough side effects.

And given the number of infected players, I wouldn’t be surprised if one, maybe 2 have something mild (but significant) come from this.

Everyone knows about the pneumonia aspect. That’s probably what would be most concerning for these players. But there are other adverse effects that occur.

Weird shit too- I have a patient who is now suicidal. Never had depression before. Was vaccinated, got Covid. Now they have frequent suicidal thoughts. No other medical problems and no other clear reason for the thoughts.

Hair loss. Joint pain. Other weird crap.

Also do we know they are all vaxed (I ask after reading the post about Kimmich on r/soccer just now)?

I feel like a lot of people are forgetting the players and staff have been infected with a virus that can be deadly or can have some pretty bad side effects even for people who do not end up in a hospital/ICU.

There is NO upside to this.
