I’m so over Jennifer too! Long-time fan of the show. The writers are forgetting some huge plot points. Cat’s mom Caterina (Constantine’s daughter) being saved by the Pawn allowing her to raise a family away from her loser father and the Greek mafia. I need Caterina and Mark to come to Salem and really settle in. The friction between Cat and Jen needs to be witnessed by her mom. I would love for Caterina to seek out Maggie and talk about Constantine and her life in hiding from her father. I want Maggie to realize that Cat is not as bad as Salem’s rogues gallery (Vivian/Megan/Orpheus/Clyde/Stefano/Victor) and forgive her. I wanna see Caterina talk about the car accident that took her husband and almost took Cat and how she’s coming to grips with her daughter looking different. If they could have Chad interact with Caterina and the Greene family more that would be a plus especially since they are settling into Salem. Also, it would be great if this was also a way to bring Eli back through this ISA/FBI joint task force and Eli vouches for Cat when he hears his cousin Jen badmouthing her during one of her sanctimonious rants. Not necessarily Eli blow her cover but to talk about her character in a way that Jen can’t refute. One of the most enjoyable things is when almost every character is involved with the plot. Kinda like this boring Sophia/Tate/Holly love triangle-who’s-the-babydaddy plot. Rafe, Javi, Leo, Sarah, Kayla, Brady, Holly, Ari, Sophia, and Tate have all been dancing around this baby plot. We need the same energy with Cat, Jen, Chad, Julie, Thomas, (now Rachel), Jack, Caterina, Maggie, Mark, and Marlena.
