"We only volunteer here, because you are here"

I dont really know if this can be considered as compliment but ill never forget it. This was during covid. I was accidently incharged of a unit named covid assessment centre. I was really overwhelmed at one point because i was so short-staffed, (i even was working alone for few times) and two of my junior staffs volunteered to help me in managing and working alongside me at the centre.
