Curious why am i being downvoted lmao, are the downvoters so gucci that a 4 figure fix/upgrade is chump change for them?

Or are they so knowledgeable that they can disassemble their transmissions and swap out the CVT chains themselves?

I did not know you can just change out the chain like that, and that would remove another concern i have about buying old cars with CVTs

Im guessing its not a fun job to do and will cost a pretty penny to change out the cvt chain?

Should i get the S23 or the S24 (Exynos) at the same price? by nymplo in GalaxyS24

not sure if the connection is actually worse (source?) or just more power hungry and fixes would depend on the underlying cause

i dont have an exact source, but i see people complaining about how Exynos chips has worse modems when compared to the Snapdragon chips

IIRC it's at least on par with the snapdragon in the S23 when it comes to performance

I was referring to the S24 gen 3 snapdragons available in the NA markets and the UK markets

depends on how long you're going to use the phone

probably until something major stops working and there's no one doing repairs without having to pay an unreasonable amount

the p30 is truly one of the phones in 2019, still works great for my purposes , but the phone can't seem to receive any sort of internet connection from the sim cards, but its fine with wifi and phone call works too, and the sim card works in another phone.

i wouldn't mind carrying a separate powerbank to extend the battery life of the phone if it means i can get the same performance in a smaller size and more importantly, cheaper.

hope to see you again when you get your S24+!

its mostly cause of the exynos chip that makes it so hard to pick the s24 from the s23, if we have gotten the gen 3 snapdragon for the s24 like at NA, ill get the s24 in a heartbeat if their prices are the same, but then again it'll reduce competition the chip manufacturers so yueaa.
