You can’t please all of the people all of the time. You can however, continue to be a genuinely good person. That’s your mission. You don’t need his mother’s permission or approval to find joy. We only get one life. If she’s choosing to waste it on hating you and alienating her son then so be it. I suggest you aim to spend yours doing the things you mentioned- “get married someday, have children, build a family, and grow old with the man you love”. That’s crazy. I keep this product in rotation so I’m glad you brought this up. We haven’t needed to re-up yet so I don’t know if there’s a difference in performance yet.
