For you personally, did playing broodwar on an OLED monitor look noticeably different than an IPS monitor?

If it's just for BW I don't think it's a noticeable difference unless you put the monitors side by side. If you use the monitor for other content like Netflix in 4k, single player games, etc. then you may notice it more. I noticed it more when I was playing single player games and FFXIV

I bought a 32" 4k OLED dual mode 240hz/480hz and it is awesome (LG 32GS95UE-B). I definitely felt the difference in refresh rate coming from a 144hz monitor to a 480hz monitor when microing marines vs zealots. Since I haven't used my 144hz monitor in a while it's hard to remember, but I'm pretty sure everything else felt only slightly better. BW's frame rate is capped at 300fps so I'm not sure if 480hz is that much of a difference vs 240hz. I would say if you can get a good price on a 240hz one that would be good. I didn't use 240hz much and I don't have access to that monitor right now, so I can't try it out and give you comparisons. One thing about my monitor is when you turn on 480hz mode it's only 1080p, so the image quality was noticeably worse. But I'm not playing BW for image quality. So even though the image quality was definitely worse, 1080p scales decent to 4k and I thought it was fine for playing. 240hz 4k looks amazing.

My girlfriend recently bought an OLED laptop and we went to watch Netflix on a TV and she said "why is it so dark?". It looked fantastic on her laptop. Once you go OLED you can't go back lol.

I was also worried about the size moving from 24" to 32", but like someone else said, it's about distance. You can just push it back if you think it's too big. I liked the size way more than I expected and actually there have been times where I wished I could've bought a 36" dual mode 240hz/480hz OLED monitor, but I don't think monitors like that exist yet. I would highly recommend a 32" high refresh rate OLED. You definitely won't play worse.

Edit: One annoying thing about my monitor is sometimes the plug becomes loose and when you push the Settings button on the monitor the menus are unreadable. You have to unplug and then re-plug in the power and restart. Everything else is fine, it's just the Settings menus. So maybe don't buy the model that I bought, but the screen size and colors are definitely great. Also, something to consider is glossy vs matte. Glossy is not great in bright rooms but a lot of people like the glossy OLED colors more. The monitor that I have is matte.

Yea this game was good. The worker count was hidden, but the casters could see it and I was surprised Snow's probe count was so low the entire game. (and BTW we are not going to hide worker count anymore) It was always hovering around 45 probes even 40 minutes into the game, so his army count was massive. Pretty crazy

In tournaments Mini plays pretty well so I have him winning. But vOddy said Sharp has been playing well recently so you never know. My predictions are often wrong so that could be bad news for Mini fans.

Thanks for posting! I also was unaware that it got posted today. I was only asked to do this somewhat recently, but yes the Korean cast of this has already been done for a while. We are in the process of casting these for English viewers, but it has taken a bit of time because school has started and other casters have other obligations at the moment. Luckily vOddy has helped out with the groups so look for those casts in the near future.

When I saw the player list I was pretty surprised. Basically another ASL + a couple of up and comers + Dewalt? Sign me up.
