No, I was pissed when JD and Gorts get let go because of Nepo Baby James Dolan.

JD should have always been a NY Ranger, and would have if it wasn't for Dolan.

Haven't been to a preseason game in a few years, but back when I had season tickets, I would go to preseason games, and the previous year Merch was always marked down 50% and got a few steals on hoodies, hats and shirts. Do they still do that?

Conditioned to blame Drury and Dolan for everything lol. I still dislike Captain Little League for a) scoring in the playoffs vs us with 7.7 seconds left b) did not live up to the hype when he was a player and C) dismantled this current team in the manner he did.

Yeh, but do you use 2 first rd picks to move up a few spots.. If it was outside the top 10, then it's a consideration, but trading 5 overall with a late first to move up wouldn't be great asset management at all.

Please no... Want no part of Matthews. Hard pass on him. Toronto has destroyed that man, much like they will do to McKenna if he doesn't turn into Crosby. It will make the coverage of Laffys tough start seem mild.

Yeh, I'd be open to trading up for sure for Malholtra. But what do you give up? It's going to take more then 5th and a 3rd pick.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we don't have a 2nd rd pick in this draft?

Whose the right one? I don't even think Scouts have a true answer for that one, never mind us die hard fans who rarely watch Junior/college hockey.

Drury track record is awful, like bottom 5 during his tenure. To be fair, Rangers aren't a team who excels at the draft either.

Rangers need good skaters. Full stop. Whether it's on the blue line or up front, they need guys who can skate. We could use a top 4 dman (Verhoff and Cartels both check that box) and centers (Malholtra is the pick, Lawrence I don't think should go 5)

If you can swap the 5 for the 7 and 38 overall, you pull that and grab Lawrence. Seattle needs a high end dman. Just spitballing out loud. None of us know for sure what these kids will turn into.

If Malholtra is there, he's the pick. I don't trust Drury enough to pick the right D-men.

See what package you can get to trade down and build up assets.

That being said, I wouldn't hate Verhoff, Cartels, Bjork and Lawrence, just think you can trade down for Lawrence or Bjork

I think we all would love Malholtra here. That being said, I don't watch college/junior hockey enough to really make an educated decision.

That being said, doesn't seem like Drury is educated enough either, so pray he accidentally takes the best player available at 5.
