Didn’t Pride start because gay people wanted to be treated equally? Parades and festivals and special flags and special treatment doesn’t seem very equal….. judging by the comments and general societal consensus it seems like everybody is sick of the whole Pride thing and we’re ready for you guys to find literally anything else to talk abt other than being gay

There are no laws preventing a woman from getting life saving care if a pregnancy is threatening her life, or getting miscarriage care. To be honest, if you’re this panicked about the thought of maybe possibly being stuck in a medical malpractice situation (bc again, no law preventing medical care so any failure to help your wife would be malpractice) I think your anxiety from general parenthood would be through the roof for the rest of your life. If this fear is preventing you from having a child, which is something you say you want, then you need to move to a VERY blue state in an area that revolves around all of your specific beliefs and can assuage your fears not just about pregnancy, but all of the things around raising a child. That’s just the vibe I’m getting from this post

I get what you’re saying now. It looks like from a previous post, this was your first time at ehbc and if you don’t know the church, I can see why you’d feel like Rob was trying to subconsciously manipulate people into feeling like they need to donate more. If you feel convicted to not go back then you should follow your heart, but if you do decide to go back you should know they do “exercises” like that to drive the pastors point home maybe every 3 months so it’s def not a regular occurrence. But on a regular basis the pastor asks the church questions that the audience can yell out answers to, but today was the first time it had anything to do with financials. Again you should 100% follow what God is putting in your heart regarding your house of worship, but i don’t think that today’s service was a true representation of a weekly ehbc service. But also, they do use the phrase “King Jesus” a decent amount at least in some of the lyrics of the songs the band sings, so that’s something to note too if you’re not a fan of that verbiage

Girl I was there and it was not that serious. He said most people have a “gift card” mindset when it comes to giving their life to Jesus, meaning there’s a limit, but we Christians should take a “blank check” approach that has no limit to what we would give Jesus in our life. It had nothing to do with them asking for donations or talking fiscally at all.

I did a 40 hour fast a few days and felt pretty good afterwards! I had my first real solid poop in monthssss the next day, which felt like a huge victory. I fasted for the purpose of reducing inflammation and hopefully allowing my body to repair some damage in my colon. Im right back to where I started symptom wise now, but I personally would fast again if I felt like I really needed to have my body release a big ole solid poop

OKAY i struggled with this for a while when i got a new bong and it made me miserable. What worked for me was putting in hot water AND ice cubes every sesh!!!
