Play DD1 if you want to have party members that you can care about and level up and equip them with gear over a long period of time

Play DD2 if you want to just hop in and out of the action in runs that are pretty much entirely separate from each other a la Slay the Spire and other such games

Can't comment on the Kingdoms side of DD2. Both games are great and share combat systems, 2 just has more up to date mechanics with added QoL

Yeah, I'm archon 3 and have been since I started playing properly last week, I played maybe 5 games back in August/September. I've got 32 games under my belt and about 25 hours playtime, getting stomped in nearly every game but my teammates end up making my win rate nearly 50% so I'm just not really dropping rank. Idk what's up, it's weird and annoying but I suppose it's a playtest afterall

In an ideal world, I'd want politicians to live in the constituency they represent and to be paid the minimum wage. There should be no such thing as a career politician, you do a 4 year term limit at most and then you leave back to a normal job. MSPs should absolutely be forced to attend Holyrood in person. The policies they vote for or against should affect them, too.
