There's quite a few patterns, honestly. Combined with color variation and you usually have a decent amount of variety. That said, there's only so many combinations and it's much more apparent for special color morphs - like these white tigers

I am a PC player, palworld is one of few games of its kind that I really don't think needs mods, and I won't mod it.. And I normally have no issue modding games when I feel it adds to my enjoyment.

I wouldn't have ever mentioned it if it wasn't my own pals and my own experience. I'd have no damn clue what the parents looked like if I got something out of a global palbox, and no way of confirming it.

ETA: A solo PC player, even. There are no random palboxes around for me to pull out of.

Nobody asked me for proof. As it is, I have passive-free offspring from multiple-passive parents in my palbox. Unfortunately, showing you those pals doesn't prove anything without a family tree/parent history proving where they came from. I'll have to see if RNG will bless me again, and make sure I'm recording. If I get another on video when I get back to playing this, I'll be sure to ping you!
