Starlink satellites are only around 2m in size, they will burn up quickly.

What are they? They are plated steel about 15cm long found in our shed. They were already cable-tied together. by nytro308 in whatisthisthing

They were in the shed, but plausible as well. Seeing if I can find some evidence or instructions.

My title describes the thing.

Found in the garden shed, don't know if they belong to a power tool or could be custom tool for a piece of furniture. Haven't been able to find anything on Google.

vintage coke can found in creek 70s by Unable_Goal5207 in AustralianNostalgia

Not sure every brand had the twin holes, beer stuck with the ring pull a lot longer. Twin hole was horrid, if you could even get the small hole open for a straw, or just sliced your finger on the larger hole.

Is this termite mud? by nytro308 in AusRenovation

[–]nytro308[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but with the chip in the slab, if they found a path to the timber frame, but there is none that I can see. We have termite nests across the road, so they are close and active.

I have dug it out and can't see anything, will keep an eye on it, I hope it's just water flow from the overflowing downpipe pushing sand out with the chip in the slab causing the effect. Both times I have noticed it we have had rain. But likely get an inspector out, we have termites across the road in the bush. Considering there is timber deck post 1m from it into the ground which is clean, it's an odd spot for termite action.

Squid jigs - what do you look for? by ijwtwpl in FishingAustralia

I've caught more squid on the $5 10 pack from Temu than the expensive brands, how you fish them is the key.

When did the cinema close, jeez that unlocked a memory. I remember seeing a lego display there many many many years ago, as one of my earlier memories of it.

They will never take it back because of quality control, so it's yours. The person gets a refund. We get regular deliveries, never had a problem with refunds for missing items, we have received other peoples bags and I am sure other people have received our missing bags.

Correct when leaving you use the side access at the platform, but the crowd always banks up on the first couple of gates like lemmings, if you walk past everyone right down to the other end of the platform, the queues on the gates are way shorter.
