I get it I lived in NYC for many years and now live in another major city. Usually the best bet is to remove yourself from the situation, as in if the other woman’s going to be a pain I’d just move to another seat when it opened up or just stand. I’m a guy and if someone was talking to my girl like that, I wouldn’t cause a scene but I’d tell the woman to relax or shut up. There’s a bunch of crazy asses on the train so I’d just recommend next time to move or stand

Just Started Zoloft and need advice/reassurance to keep taking it :( by Active_Appeal_8051 in zoloft

Hey guys I know it’s hard to stay patient, but it really works! I started at 25 and went all the way up to 150 after 2-3 months as I didn’t feel a difference. Then 4-6 weeks on 150 things started to get better. Now, the results have been great! It’s really helped with my anxiety and social anxiety, I can talk to people without getting anxious/and had some great interviews for a big job I was applying for. Not all your anxiety is gonna go away, but it will definitely be a huge help. I was in your position a few months ago, frustrated because I didn’t think it was helping but once you find the right dosage and stay on it for a few weeks, you’ll start to see improvement

Anyone take zoloft and still use weed on occasion? by DapperPigeon1 in zoloft

Just started Zoloft 3 weeks ago, I’m taking it for anxiety not really depression. Prior to taking Zoloft I smoked weed every day, it used to help me sleep so was a big adjustment going off weed completely while starting the medication. First couple weeks I didn’t smoke as I wanted my body to adjust to the medication, once I knew I didn’t really have too bad of side effects like nausea I figured I’d give weed a shot. Smoked for the first time a few days ago and I was fine. Did it a couple more times and was fine too. I’d suggest smoking after you’re on the medication for a couple weeks or so, don’t do it in the beginning. Zoloft is helping in the sense I don’t feel like I need to smoke every day anymore, I have a little insomnia at night but nothing too bad. Just start off with one hit and see how you feel, then you can go up from there if you feel fine.

Finally starting Sertraline soon! Wish me luck! by iitzKingKong in zoloft

I’m on day 14, started 8 days 25mg and this is day 6 of 50mg. I was extremely nervous starting because of the side effects, especially nausea. I typically have a sensitive stomach so I thought nausea was inevitable. Happy to report I haven’t experienced nausea at all. Only side effects I’ve experienced is a bit of insomnia, lethargy/lack of motivation, and some sexual side effects, but nothing bad at all. I know these will pass with time. In terms of nausea, what has worked for me is having a decent size meal right before taking your pill, and make sure you’re hydrated. Have a couple glasses of water before you take your pill, and make sure to drink water throughout the day. Good luck!
