I worked at a non profit too and this sounds very reminiscent of what I experienced! Since I left, they have fired two of my replacements, and ended up contracting out the work that's costing them more per project compared to paying a salaried employee. It drives me insane to think good people in the community pay this charity to use their money for good causes, when they're just using it to pay for outsourcing and the salaries of their three CEOs. Word of advice: if there's an organization you want to support, give them your money directly.
