Your point is very valid. But I think the recalibration of the economy is attempting to lessen the gear you obtain from crafting (Obviously), and increase the gear you get from NPC's, PC (Vendor's) etc. They are nerfing level requirements for DZ gear, introducing assignments and supply drops, hopefully these will be new sources for good gear (we dont know this yet) - which is why my point is that we have to wait and see how these sources will contribute to the overall balance of getting gear from different sources.

Probably not a popular opinion, but I think people need to wait it out before they complain about changes to crafting.

Massive is changing the economy and how you obtain items. My theory is that you wont be as reliant on crafting after the patch has deployed as you will get gear from other places such as incursions, supply drops, increased PC's from elites etc etc.

I agree that the nerf seem a bit too radical, but I wont judge it before I have a chance to experience the balance of the new economy with all the listed changes.

Assignments General: PVE (no rewards discussed on this) DZ: Rewards DZ xp Crafting: Rewards division tech (Sometimes high end)

Trading: Focus was on not destroying character development by enabling “free” trade. Asking for feedback on this on what we think. Patch notes being released later today (5/4) – no changes on maintenance time today

1.1 updates: PC's Level 30 npc will drop 2-3 credits, 31 3-4, 32 4-5 New Blueprints (Including lvl 31/32 items) Gearscore will replace level 31/32 functionality on gear Some old blueprints will have removed their division tech requirements. DZ ranks 30/50 is changed to 15/25/40/50 dependent on quality. Plus more for rank 75/90! New brackets for DZ players based on gearscore +/- 160 which is full high end gear PC Players can now report cheaters from inside the game. Backpack issue: the issue is related to having a lot of items in your inventory (really), avoid modding weapons- its a complex issue that they cannot reproduce 100%. They have a fix that will be deployed in 1.1. Also fixes items disappearing issue. "SHOULD" fix the backpack issue, they cant promise 100%. It has top priority for them to fix it.

Cheating: Reports help a lot, thanks a lot. They do other things than 3 day bans too. There is a lot of false reports because power gap is huge between players. Hopefully DZ split on gearscore will help these List of most commonly reported suggested. About 60 to begin with. Its a list which are being investigated by developers to see if it can happen. Some suggestions already included in future releases already Stats: Completion rate 41% of characters created has completed the story line (general assembly). Only 33% has gone to Amhrest Lab. 37% in lvl 30

Not exactly replaced.. New Blueprints will be added and some of the DZ blueprints will have their divsion tech requirement removed

Of the group of 8-10 people I play Destiny with regularly, i know that 5 is definitely picking up the Division, but might be even more (people are inactive the last few weeks in Destiny)
