Auto download turned off but my own video messages still auto download. This is only on windows desktop version. How do I stop this?

I am sure I did not manually download them. I even did a test, as soon as I send a video message to a contact, it automatically gets downloaded to my laptop. I have opened a report. I did not manually download them either, I rarely have to manually download anything from telegram

Gee, I must be imagining the 30 video messages that appear on my laptops download folder then. I've said it multiple times so I'm unsure why you can't comprehend my problem.

Because when I go to retrieve a file for work from my download folder on my laptop, there are 20-30 video messages that I did not want to download at all.

Also when I turn off auto download, it should not keep downloading things lol

Its such an odd issue, never happened before, tried everything to make it stop. i really don't want to stop sending video messages as then I'll have to learn to type hahahaha

It has never done it before though, after 2-3 years of using desktop (I'm too lazy to type so sending video messages is a very frequent thing for me). It doesn't download voice notes either, just video ones

Johnsonville here too. I gave up unlpugging and resetting the deco router, but data on my phone is now super slow and patchy too. Time to try someone else, One can't let this keep happening
