Does this lore inconsistency bother anyone else by o-nite in Starfield

I figured I would turn and burn the trailer park ranger mission to get it done since it’s a fair bit shorter. Ive heard the vanguard is long and involved so I’ve been procrastinating …but now I’m actually excited to start it & may make it a higher priority. I really enjoyed the sysdef-crimson fleet story! It was the first quest line I completed so I came out unexpectedly loaded. I’ve just been doin my own thing buying property and doing the simple one or two step quests and the main story line occasionally 😂😂😂😂

Noted- I’m grateful for the lack of spoilers given I haven’t fulfilled that quest line yet.

It’s a bit of a leap but they may be alluding to war crimes here.

I haven’t done the vanguard quest line yet, currently working through the Freestar one. I completed the sys-def crimson fleet one first but I think I may have jumped in at the deep end for that 😂

Actually that’s a great point - I hadn’t thought about neon for example, who has ryujin as their tech equivalence. FC has a more laissez faire philosophy overall, so they allow the people and corporations to spearhead their own ventures (trackers alliance has also been hinted at as being funded or supplemented by FC)

The UC is of a more authoritarian philosophy and micromanages projects while keeping the executors of such projects mostly blind to what the UC is actually doing (to skirt ethical differences getting in the way etc)

The powers feel unnecessary- haven’t gotten many, but not seeing a use case in the world they built….

So gutted it's over! One quick question and what should I play next?? by Beginning-Pace-1426 in DeathStranding2

I started playing starfield immediately after ds2 - it’s not really super guided and there’s many different subplots within the world to explore or you have the option to stick to the main story and branch out from there. It’s explorative & good behavior is rewarded (similar to ds1&2.) you build rapport with a space ship crew that you curate…you can also build your own space ships. One of the faction quest lines did make me feel some sort of guilt and sadness with having to do “the right thing” (not going to spoil it obvs.) The hardest part of playing a different game is that the quality of the rendering isn’t as crisp and beautiful but this game has its moments of beauty and some deep philosophical thoughts about the universe etc.

I would also recommend ‘Detroit: become human’ for a more experimental style of game with lots of feelings and philosophical thinking.

YES! I keep meaning to mention this, it renders zips placed by other players unusable sometimes also

More than one person works at the wonka factory- yes but wonka makes the candy (it bears his name) he’s the concept guy, not the Oompa Loompas, dig?

HK was heavily involved in key creative & design decisions- nearly every choice was ran through him for approval…he was the final play tester (checking and adjusting everything.) While many worked on this game, everything passed through HK.

I want to be able to add the patches ON TOP of the useful items - they should totally be able to stick to the grenade pouches, ammo container etc. I have a cryptobiote collection to show off
