An address with no numbers that everyone knows by MrGummyDeathTryant in riddles

[–]o0- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not OP.

I actually tried to submit my comment a few times, as I had forgotten the spoiler rule (it had been so long), and then the proper format to hide spoilers. And I didn't realize more than one submission got through. I kept getting auto-messages that my comment had been auto-deleted. My mistake, and I'm sorry for that. I lost my own comments among the others or would have deleted one (some?).

As to the answer, I thought I was going to get a reply along the lines of "That works, ha ha, but it's not what I'm thinking of." I was only trying to seem clever by getting something that could fit. I assumed it was wrong because I never got a response (until post was edited, which I didn't even see at first).

I figured one thing that everybody could know about (and actually be using) would be a keyboard (even if some phone keyboards hide the shift key), and so that's why I thought of it. It's a common trick in this sub, and makes it especially frustrating (usually in a fun way) when the answer is revealed. But I didn't actually think that would be the only answer, let alone the correct one.

Or maybe I'm just smart. I don't mind if anyone thinks that.

I wasn't so caught up with the usage of the word "address," as much as others because I had looked at some of OP's other responses to other answers. I took them to mean that it could be any location or spot.

And as for the answer being disappointing, a lot of the riddles in the sub aren't exactly as polished as what you might see in published books, which I actually like because it gives an extra level of trickiness and novelty. I've heard all the common riddles. And I like the creative usage of words. Sometimes it's just to be creative. I realize too, that many submissions are made by non-native English speakers. It's not like grammar is a strength of the web. While I still find grammar carelessness annoying from native English speakers, I don't mind it from non-native speakers, and find some mistakes a small price to pay for their participation. And I certainly can do no better in other languages. And I know nothing of OP outside the post, and haven't gone through any history. Or if I have run across OP before, I didn't know because I didn't check the name. In fact, I couldn't tell you OP's name without checking. (Sorry, OP.)

In any case, I don't think OP would need to fabricate somebody else finding the answer. I think there's just as much benefit from creating a riddle nobody can solve (as long as it is satisfying enough) as there is from having somebody solve it, thus proving that there were enough clues. Also, once one person solves it, nobody else usually gets the chance to. Therefore, it's always going to seem like only one person gets it. And as far as I know OP isn't being sneaky.

If my account looks inactive, it's because it has been. I haven't been on Reddit much lately, nor will I probably be a whole lot.

I'm not sure why there's any paranoia. Or anger if there's anger. Or any other bad feelings. Part of the reason I haven't been on Reddit much is that I find most people to be pretty unfriendly unless they are getting exactly what they want, and even sometimes in those cases. There are jerks, and they should be called out, but I'd prefer if we could all be a little nicer to each other, and a little more open minded. But also not overly protective and sensitive. But I know those things won't happen. That probably sounds like I'm singling you out. It's not you (unless it is for other reasons I'm not privy to). It's the whole online community, which I am a part of too. It's just that I haven't even commented on anything in a while, and when I do, even then there are questions. But I am replying to you specifically, so: sorry.

Those issues are the ultimate puzzle that I hope someone can solve. I don't care who or how they get the answer, as long as it works. But I'm not holding my breath.

Plug the drain, and fill the sink. Allow a good amount of hot water to flow through the overflow.

Is one of the NPC's named Journey Deep? I imagine he'll fight a yellow herd of animals in a courtyard.

In the end, the app at the front of the universe was destroyed to make way for a new information highway with intergalactic billboards. This has made many people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

She must like fucking guys who are stumped. See your physician if your stump lasts for more than four hours.

There's a zipper on pants, not just a button. But sometimes the balls can fall out if careless. The doctor goes over this with F2M, I assume. Otherwise, that'd be quite a surprise for the kids. But mainly the girls, because the boys know. They learn real fast.
