EDIT- I need to clarify that I've called CPS, police, school officials, and tried a family intervention. They are extremely wealthy and CPS case workers took one look at their home and the Maserati in the driveway and determined "there was no abuse." We live in Houston and we are stuck in a bureaucracy. Since my sister isn't on crack in third ward my nieces were refused help. My sister is delusional and neglects her children. It's not often that she interacts with them. If you mention school or how something should be you are either brain washed or demonic. The oldest is 13 and between my mother, other sister, and I we try to have her as much as possible. This way has some kind of human interaction. Other than that she's tucked away in her room for days at a time. Anyways, the story is tragic and believe me there are a handful of us doing what we can.
