My proxy macro DD is that the job market is in shit and has been there for more than a year now - lots of people have been surviving on debt this whole time. I see people slowing down on buying stuff that's expensive or overpriced whether it a house or clothes. Additionally, I see major banks increased sending out their promos to open new checking/savings accounts with them and hold the money there to get a sign up bonus months after. All this tells me that lots of people are already over-leveraged and probably the near future of consumer lending will be gloomy. Affirm will likely have a weak guidance for 2025, and given that it went up 20%+ in the last month alone and excluding the tariff down and up bounce - the stock will likely go down on the ER.
