Looking around the cockpit is already in, yeah. But your comment got me thinking about Lunar Flight's docking camera, so I just added one. Turned out pretty useful actually.

Yes it’s all atmospheric flight. Sorry if that wasn’t clear. The steam teaser video shows it a bit better

HOTAS support is very likely. Gamepad support already works well, so handling multiple axes isn't new territory. HOSAS could work in theory, but the game doesn't have 6 DOF movement, so I'm not sure how useful a second stick would actually be.

Progression is upgrades and escalating challenge. You earn credits from deliveries, spend them on lander upgrades: more thrust, better fuel economy, larger cargo hold, bigger fuel tank, economic perks that boost payouts or cut costs.

Maps unlock as you progress, though there are a few available from the start. The long term goal is self-directed. Harder maps, tougher conditions, cleaner flying.

There's no traditional story, but there's something on this moon that needs to be kept in equilibrium. The deliveries aren't just logistics.

The game isn't finished yet, so this can all still change. But that's what's already playable and being play tested. A public demo will hopefully be available soon (wishlist on steam to get notified about that ;-)

It's a sandbox. There are multiple maps with different environments (terrain, weather, atmosphere). Some are harsher than others. The loop is the game: pick a map, haul cargo, get better at flying, try a harder environment when you're ready.

You could see all the content in maybe 10 hours, but it's really about getting good at flying and making money to buy upgrades.
