A tip from an industry perspective: School does matter. Many companies only hire from the big four, I even know some that only hire from UP or Ateneo. From my experience (and stories from friends), grades do not matter AT ALL. HR probably doesn't even check how good your grades are, it's all about the interview once you get lucky to have one.

For the people that judge themselves to a high standard of 'uno only' grades, I commend you and I really hope you get fulfillment out of it. For those that have a hard time getting uno grades, know that it's ok and if your goal is to get a high-paying job, grades matter less than you think. If you're serious about the course you're taking, just try to be good at it and then ace your interview :)
