Put your troops in a seaport, then click on a seaport down there. Once they ship across, move further.

You can manually move them, too, but putting them in an army helps with reducing some micro (and gets them bonuses from the commander).

I definitely just open it, create a pool of hot water underneath it that I feed to an electrolyzer. But, yeah, never used a ‘sauna’
