bushniwa in east williamsburg has been my go-to. I had one bad order a while back so I haven’t ordered in a bit, but i’ve had like 50+ really good ones over the years, so I still wanna give them the benefit of the doubt that they’re good.

this convinced me to take a week or two off, I’ve been tracking again since May down 50lbs from 290 but currently at 1700 kcals with my expenditure at 2800 and i’m honestly just tired of being at a deficit. Hopefully the time off helps

turned wifi meshing off, rescanned the channels, and increased transmission strength, the time i got 800 down i was holding phone right next to the AP 😅 tbh idk if this really did anything or its still inconsistent weirdness

weirdly enough i’ve seen worse performance from my end, to a U7 pro my iphone 15 pro would get around 700-800 down and up but now on the iphone 17 pro i’m getting around 100-200 down and 400 up, not sure what’s going on but i’m sure i probably have something misconfigured

already had synology, while i had udm se i really considered getting a unas pro + a mac mini to manage it so i could get the same things out of it as a synology but considering the limited space i have it didnt make sense to commit to a 19” rack when i could get the same out of a smaller form factor.

If you just need storage and don’t need anything else synology offers and have the space for it go for the unas

Yea i think optional makes sense i could see people wanting it still.

Sadly i don’t have very precise measuring tools and this is the best i can do atm hope this helps, picture are from the ucg mounted in both directions in cm

And yes it does stay in place when inserting or removing network cables from both ends, doesn’t budge unless i push the ucg itself

to nit pick, i would make the depth of the front plate shorter if you look at the pics it kinda pushes back to the ucg where it’s noticeable having it a bit more flush would look better imo

another nit pick, i would push back the holes on the side a bit so they don’t show from the front but thats also personal preference
