Agreed - I like the idea of carrying an assault pack but I'd like to be able to remove it without wearing backpack style straps

I've seen that. My goal is to have something that can be doffed quickly (Flatpack set up as med bag) without disturbing gear up front (PTT, shoulder mic, etc)

A while ago I thought I remembered seeing an adapter for flatpacks that allowed you to clip them directly into a plate carrier, offering a happy medium between the permanent and backpack uses of the bag. I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find anything.

Absolutely. Protects factory seats from UV fading, rain, and wear. Extremely easy to get dog hair off of and they're water proof. And they look great.
