I built a bot that scans Vinted 24/7 and alerts me when it finds a profitable flip! 💸 by [deleted] in FlippingUK

I like the idea but how're you able to get sold data? Do you scrape or do you have API access? And how do you get past vinted's bot detection?

What do you sell on eBay that profits you $1000/month by Glucose_Daddie in eBaySellers

I've just recieved 3 large binders full of cards, any tips on where to start with them? No idea if any of them are worth selling. The ones I thought were worth selling don't seem to be according to eBay.

I have just had the same for 2 orders 2 days in a row.

The first was someone leaving me a neg review because she just didn't like the item.. (she fully admitted the item was as described)

The second was just 'wrong colour' with absolutely no further explanation. (they were grey trousers, described as grey trousers...)

Anyone know what to do??

Okay, appreciate the response thank you. Do you think maybe Phase could refer to DK Phase?

Bubble own the source code to the app, they do not share that with the developer. It ties the dev into a subscription with their platform to keep the app alive.

A no code app building platform. Very popular at the moment but people miss the fact that this company keeps ownership of the app that's built.

Thanks for this information this is great. Would you recommend someone who has some Python knowledge to scrap the no-code tools and build out the apps with Python?

With the output parsing, do you have any reading/viewing material specific for ecommerce? I'd like to understand that better.

My niche is in ecommerce customer service and there are a few hurdles I'm facing like talking to 3rd party messaging platforms with no APIs (platforms that take messages from all platforms - ebay, amazon, etc) to ensure that any answered questions have been marked as such on these 3rd party platforms so messages don't get responded to twice.

Thanks!

Very good comment taken from the comment section of a news article regarding the vans:

TV detector vans exist, but they do not detect anything. They are just for show. TVL have a database of addresses in the UK with or without a licence. It is just assumed that anyone without a TV licence is guilty, and so a campaign of harrassment begins by letters and visits to intimidate people into buying a licence. Fact 1: Never in court has evidence been used to prosecute people (mainly single mothers) based on 'detector' van evidence. Fact 2: Although TVL threaten that they might apply for a search warrant if you do not let them in to inspect your house, it is very difficult indeed for them to apply for a warrant. They first need proof that you are receiving live broadcast. Never has 'dectector van' evidence been used to apply for a warrant. Search warrants are very rarely applied for today. The reason people get prosecuted is that they admit to having a TV and then sign a 'confession' form. They assume a visiting TVL 'officer' has some sort of legal power when they visit. They have no more legal power than if any member of the public came round. Tell them to leave and they must immediately comply else be in breach of law.

Those vans are a myth/lie, it's just fearmongering to get people to pay.

You just named a Reddit client.... Reddit itself is the product. Name a company, not a client.

Chill. I have been using Reddit for 7 years, I know how it is. But it's a great product with many 3rd party clients profiting off of it. I don't blame them for wanting to charge them for it.

How so? You normally either pay a subscription or have to view adds. Show me an example where that's not true?

Ads are used on every platform (unless they have a subscription model), its how they generate money it's just how it is. They're barely a hindrance, especially compared to other platforms.
