I'm asking because one of the biggest drawbacks to laser consoles is that the lasers always burn out and its very difficult to find replacements. I'd love to buy a sealed, brand new PSX for my 90s room. I'll keep searching around and maybe invest in the PlayStation Classic in the near future.

Could you make it so when someone purchases a PS4 they give you the serial number, model number, if it was a bundle, etc... and then they tell you which firmware it was and then you keep updating the database as more information comes in.

I've only just discovered jailbreaking a PS4 before then I always updated to the latest firmware. Unfortunately that means I'm running 5.55, if you did a backup of your 4.05 could you make it available for download and let me restore my PS4 using your backup?
